Skippered Sailboat Rides Lake Superior
Each sailing
vessel has an American Sailing Association instructor aboard who will sail
the boat and work with interested guests to let them sail and control the
boat as much as possible.
Northern Breezes offers skippered rides
on our spectacular sailboats. A skippered ride is a great way to get
out on the water with family or friends and an experienced skipper to show
you the ropes.

Four hours north of Minneapolis/ St. Paul. Near Bayfield in Northern Wisconsin.
Here we offer rides on our two 34' Hunters, Jolly
and Taboo, our 36' Islander (Aerie),
and our 38' Athena catamaran.

About Northern Breezes Sailing School and
Magazine
The Regional Magazine, Northern Breezes, was started in 1990. The online
Sailing Magazine, SailingBreezes.com, was started in 1997. Northern Breezes
Sailing School started in 1999. The school offers everything in sailing from
Youth Sailing Camps, Adult Intro Courses to Offshore Sailing on Lake
Superior, Lake Michigan and in the Caribbean islands as well as Marine
Weather, Coastal and Celestial Navigation ashore classes on Lake Minnetonka
and Afton. The owner Captain Thom Burns, a retired navy officer, has over
10,000 miles of sea time on small boats and ocean crossings.
