Cruising Catamaran (ASA 114) on Lake Superior

This is a two-day, liveaboard, advanced cruising course for sailors with cruising experience. Graduates are certified to act as skipper and crew of a 30-50 foot multihull sailboat by day in coastal waters. Students will learn all aspects of skippering a cruising catamaran (school boat images) and sleep aboard the boat at our marina and sail in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore on Lake Superior.
 

Class Location: Apostle Islands, Lake Superior. Vacation courses are held aboard Calico, our Fountaine-Pajot Athena 38 cruising catamaran (school boat images) in the beautiful Apostle Islands near Bayfield, Wisconsin. Students pre-board the boat after 5 PM the night before the course starts.

Cat 1: Saturday & Sunday: June 9-10, 2012
Cat 2: Saturday & Sunday: July 14-15, 2012
Cat 3: Saturday & Sunday: August 25-26, 2012
Cat 4: Saturday & Sunday: September 15-16, 2012

Fee: $695; includes textbook Multihull Sailing, exam, ASA certification, sleeping accommodations, and two lunches.
Instructor to Student Ratio is One to Four Maximum!

Prerequisites: Basic Keelboat (ASA 101) and Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103) and Bareboat Charter (ASA 104).
