Fitted with Beckson's trademark, red T-handle and gray body with angled spout,
the Thirsty-Mate pump is self-priming. Because the hand pump is made of
polyvinyl material, it won't corrode, rust or cause damage. Cleaning is easy,
too. If the pump gets clogged, removing the foot valve assembly and cleaning out
the inside gets it back into use quickly and easily.
The nonconductive material is solvent-welded and can withstand temperatures up
to 120° F. The most popular Thirsty-Mate models come in lengths of 18", 24", 30"
and 36" with hose lengths of up to 6'. Capacities range between 6 to 13 gallons
per minute. Replacement parts are readily available.
