What's Happening This Year?
Thursday night: Girls Guns and Glory are playing at Lyman-Morse:
They are a little country, a little rock and all fun. For food, we have gone all Food Truck to give the most variety of delicious and original offerings. Open Beer and Wine Bar.
Friday night: We will be back in Camden at Wayfarer's dockside tent for a post race Crew Party and Yellow Jersey Presentation. We will serve up Dark 'n'Stormys, beer and wine and a delicious spread of appetizers to whet your appetite for a night out in Camden.
What's back this year?
Nightlife is back to put on Saturday night's dance party at Wayfarer. Grilled lobster tails and steaks, numerous salad selections, open bar and more will keep everyone fortified for a fun night! On Thursday night, fireworks over the St. George River at Lyman-Morse will cap off the night. The Texas Flying Legends air show will start the sailboat races on Friday. Ted Smith and his race committee are back, ready to put on a great series of fun and competitive racing for all levels of experience and intensity. Check this page for the Notice of Race.
Personnel Change: Ben Ellison had to return to the world of publishing but we are happy to report that Steve Bunnell has taken on the mantle of Powerboat Guide for the weekend. He has some great courses lined up for exploring Penobscot Bay. Check this page for the latest information from Steve.
You have read about it! You have heard about it! PBR really is as much fun as everyone says. Plus, there is no more beautiful place than Penobscot Bay and no more unique and special event than the Penobscot Bay Rendezvous.
