Raybestos Brakes introduces the new electric brake catalog, which is a user-friendly guide that contains all of Raybestos’ electric trailer brake part numbers and accessories for quick and easy product reference.

The catalog consists of a total of 180 new electric trailer brake part numbers, as well as a complete line of new replacement lighting, connectors, accessories and transmission coolers. The catalog also offers brake control installation tips, a brake control troubleshooting guide and an electric trailer brake reference guide. A brake lock application guide contains a total of seven new Mico 690 Series brake locks.

One of the new products included in the catalog is the ENVOY™ Electric Brake Control available for one or two axles. The new ENVOY™ is equipped with a patented inertia activated sensor that detects the tow vehicle’s rate of deceleration and applies proportional braking to the trailer. Its easy-to-install design includes a simple four-wire hookup and is adjustable to accommodate different trailer weights. A “pivot-mount” provides for installation in late model vehicles, The new ENVOY™ also features LED monitors that indicate a secure trailer connection and warns against an increase of power to the trailer brakes. In addition, it meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations for tow vehicle/trailer light activation.
