ADA Fact:

ADA currently sponsors Camp Needlepoint, a residential camp for children with diabetes, where programs include Frontier Sailing and Windjammers designed for the camper who is interested in sailing.

Diabetes Overview:

Every hour another Minnesotan is told they have diabetes.  Every three hours, diabetes contributes to the death of a Minnesotan.  It is estimated that approximately 1/2 of the people who have diabetes are not aware that they have the disease!

Diabetes is a chronic disease that HAS NO CURE - the effects of diabetes can be devastating.  Complications include blindness, heart disease, kidney failure, stroke, amputations and death.  We can save $1.7 billion a year in Minnesota if diabetes is cured.  We need your help.
